My little girl isn't so little any more!
Noelle in my belly!
Smiling
I just had to tell you all a few of the things Noelle has said lately. She is such a character! My parents say she is exactly like me when I was little. She picks up on EVERYTHING we say, and is a little parrot. Yesterday she was sitting in her high chair, and was asking for something and I said "no" and she said "This just isn't my day". Today she was playing with her new markers, and she took the cardboard piece out of the plastic package and said it was her credit card. There are so many times each day where she says things that I can hardly believe....she's just too smart for her own good! She already knows lots of her letters, and what they stand for: wherever we are she almost always can find a "D for Dad" or an "M for Mom". She knows her colours really well, too. It feels like Kindergarten is just around the corner! That will be a sad day....good thing I still have her for a few years!

Fun at the Cabin
We just got back from our 2nd annual family cabin vacation, and it was great. We stayed in a nice (but small) cabin with my family on Lac Lu, close to Kenora. We had a little beach and playground right next to our cabin, and waterfalls just a 5 minute walk away. There was also a petting zoo just about 10 minutes down the road, where Noelle had her first horse ride! We had so much fun hanging out as a family: playing games, going for boat rides, cooking and eating together, and relaxing. Ty and the kids and I all slept in the same room, and it went amazingly well. I am sad that it's over, but it's good to be home too!

Brotherly Love
Noelle loves her little brother. We finally started letting her hold him the other day, and they both loved it! (Yes....he is big! He's probably close to 20 lbs already, and he's just 6 months old!). It's so sweet to see how much they love each other. They both just light up when the other one comes into a room. Hopefully it stays this way!
Guitar Hero!!!
I bought Tyler a game called "Guitar Hero" for Christmas, and he loved it! Ever since then Noelle often asks him to play it because she likes watching...."Do again a-guitar, Dad!". She thinks it's called "a-guitar" ("That's Dads a-guitar" she says). Well, the other day he finally let her have a turn, and she was in her glory!
