Best Pancakes EVER!!!

I just had to share this recipe with you all. I wasn't sure what to make for supper, so I decided to make breakfast:) I found this recipe online, and tweaked it a bit, and it was awesome! And they're healthy too. Here goes:
Whole Wheat Banana Blueberry Pancakes
2 c whole wheat flour
2 t baking powder
1 t salt
2 eggs
2 c milk (or a little less)
2 Tablespoons oil
(sugar to taste, if desired)
splash of vanilla
2 mushy bananas
blueberries
Stir dry, add wet. I added the blueberries once I poured the batter into the pan (just sprinkled them on top and kinda pushed them in because the blueberries are huge right now!).
For fun, I made them in these fun heart-shaped pancake makers my mom gave me...kinda fun:)

Baking with Daddy and other fun

My husband is such a good Dad....I'm so proud of him! The other day he decided to make Monster Cookies with the kids...which, by the way, were the best I've ever tasted!!! Maybe I'll post the recipe if he lets me:) We all had so much fun: I just love spending time together as a family.

I've been trying to figure out how to get my kids to drink more water, and I think I discovered the secret....'tea' parties! Here's Noelle and Elliott sharing some 'tea' with friends. It is amazing how much water they'll drink when it's coming out of a teapot!

Another thing we like to do is have dance parties. Here's Elliott and Noelle doing some of their dance moves to one of Noelle's favourite songs: "Blessed Be Your Name". She even gives a bit of a dance lesson at the end:) Just so you know, I have been trying to get her to wear more clothes in public....it just seems like she is always not dressed for pictures!

We are super excited for the next stage in the life of our family: having a baby! The kids are always wanting to talk to the baby, blow on my tummy, and talk about how they're going to help once the baby is here. The countdown is on...about 7 weeks to go!!! My belly is big...sorry, I don't have any good pictures of it to post, but just imagine me with a basketball under my shirt:)

Well, that's all for now...hope you're having a great summer! Hey...rain is better than snow, right?
